I used 2 of these cards to upgrade an IBM M4 server. My customer didn't want to use SAS disks connected to their own backplane to run their SQL server. So we have 2 - Samsung 850 EVO - 1TB - M.2 SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-N5E1T0BW) for SQL data drives in RAID1 and 2 - Samsung 850 EVO - 500GB - M.2 SATA III Internal SSD with the second one Card connected RAID1 for OS W2K16. Each card was configured for hardware RAID1 using the card's mgt utility <ctrl-M>, the W2K16 already had the Marvell drivers so I made sure the included IO Crest CD was not required for the install.
