I spent most of the day installing it as the firmware was old and the instructions on the phone didn't tell you how to install a new Wi- Create fi names and save first node. connected to the modem/router via Ethernet cable. I thought it was similar to Xfinity Xfi modules where you use an existing WiFi name and it just extends it. So I called Linksys support and they remotely connected to my computer and installed the nodes correctly. Once it worked I liked the speed as my Xfinity Xfi only gives me 10Mbps with gig speed internet. At least when my computer is at the end of the chain I get over 350Mbps. What a huge difference compared to Xfi! I spent so much money on Xfi but it's useless! I can't believe Comcast is selling crap without full disclosure! I would give 5 stars because of the faster internet speed, but I choose 4 stars because their instructions weren't very clear. When the support agent called and I only waited 15 seconds for an answer, he was able to fix my installation problem.
