Much better than Xfinity Xfi Modules

I spent most of the day installing it as the firmware was old and the instructions on the phone didn't tell you how to install a new Wi- Create fi names and save first node. connected to the modem/router via Ethernet cable. I thought it was similar to Xfinity Xfi modules where you use an existing WiFi name and it just extends it. So I called Linksys support and they remotely connected to my computer and installed the nodes correctly. Once it worked I liked the speed as my Xfinity Xfi only gives

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Great router! the best whole home and mesh Wi-Fi systems

This is a very good router! It replaces the Linksys WRT1900acs router. I have about 20 devices connected. The old router has failed. The Linksys Velop mesh router is a great upgrade. After I set up three nodes, the router worked as advertised. If you need full Wi-Fi coverage at home and have multiple devices, this router is a very good candidate to meet your needs.

Pros
  • Complete kit
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great Mesh WiFi System

Easy to install (replaces Verizon gigabit modem)! It serves our 3,500 square foot three-armed home with no gaps! Excellent wifi speed everywhere and Cat 5 in my office. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Compatibility

Complete Garbage - Do Not Buy

Internet connection is intermittent. Numerous calls to technical support are useless. Revain and the seller will not approve the return after 30 days. Total nightmare. So I bought an alternative solution. It works like a dream so clearly this is the product.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Weight

The wireless internet in my rented apartment only covered half of the house. The internet company wanted me to buy a second wireless router and have two connections/fees for 55.00 a month. I will be here for 4 years. So I would spend $55 x 48 = $2640 for an additional system to give me full coverage at home. The savings over the years pay off many times over for the system.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

It's worth it! - Networking Products

This thing is great! It's faster and more responsive than a wired connection to my TV. I don't know how that's even possible, and I don't care anymore. I unplugged the Category 6 cable from the TV. I've tried so many routers, like the Apple AirPort Extreme, the Netgear Nighthawk X6 AC3600 Tri-Band, none even come close. I've hooked up all types of home automation including Wink II, 4 TVs, Fire TV, Netflix, 2 Sonos systems with subwoofers, 4 Alexas, lots of WiFi lights and switches, Macbook…

Easy to set up. Good strong signal.

We recently moved from a 1 room apartment to a 3 room house. Needless to say, our old wi-fi modem/router couldn't reach the top and back of the house. We've seen a few good reviews in tech magazines recommending this system. Setup was easy. I connected the first node and hardwired it to the modem. I then used the Linksys app to connect to the modem and start broadcasting the new Wi-Fi network. Once the first was set up, the other two were relatively easy to set up as well. All in all, it took…

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • So so
