Not so secured on my review.
The tie down becomes slightly loose after towing my boat 120 miles to my fishing spot , again driving back home it became slightly loose. I don't get a sense of total security. It never happened to the previous tie down that I had for 2 years but its locking metal created scratch marks on the the boat, the reason I bought this new one. If it continues to become loose while towing the boat, I will look for another one, maybe pay a bit more for better quality. The total security is more important than the money.
