My wife is always afraid of someone breaking into our house at night. It's funny because we live in a nice area in a small town. I wasn't too happy when they arrived because I really felt like they weren't needed and were difficult to put on. That all changed when I reluctantly realized how easy they were to put on and how much stronger they were than a bolt. I think the description says they are 8 times stronger than a bar. Please note that there is no key to open them from the outside, so they work like a hotel lock. You lock it from the inside and no one can enter from the outside. For this reason and because of the presence of children, we do not lock it during the day unless we want our children to be outside. I can't say I've never felt this way before. LAUGH OUT LOUD. This is the perfect piece for the night when everyone is in the house and you need extra security. And I don't have to fiddle with the latch and fiddle with another key. To install it they literally glued it to the frame and screwed in 3 screws. And the screws were even there. Easy, and now maybe my wife will leave me alone. :)
