Wow! I'm really excited about this headset. 100% satisfied with my purchase. I checked out the Vibe Pro but didn't want to spend $1,300. I was up and running 10 minutes after taking the Samsung out of the box on Windows 10. No sign of the screen door effect, but you've heard of VR headsets. Virtual reality is very fluid. All you have to do is put on your VR headset and in a few seconds you are in a "virtual home" navigating through your VR apps. I have rooms to watch HDHomeRun TV, Netflix and Plex which is like having my own private cinema. Beat Saber ($) is required for use on Google Earth (free). Samsung also offers you some free services in the app they provide. The graphics are very sharp and immersive (almost). The only criticism is the field of view of 110 degrees. I can see the sides of the headset out of the corner of my eye. Once you commit to something, it tends to go away. You'll never notice it in Beat Saber. I'm a bit worried about the forehead pad, but I think it will wear down and become more comfortable over time. And after an hour or so it gets tiring. A good reminder to take a break and get back to the real world. For reference, my Windows 10 Pro workstation is a 7th Gen Intel Core Desktop Processor i7-7700K (BX80677I77700K), 32GB DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz, SSDs, Nvidia GTX 1080 and a cheap Bluetooth USB dongle. (Tip: Don't be like me and don't leave protective film on your lenses if you're in a hurry to jump into VR.)
