We started camping again after being in an RV as our two youngest children were so small and we didn't want to risk the changeable weather. Of course now that we have a tent we need a heat source because the nights here in the north east get a bit cooler than people think lol. We didn't need anything big or bulky. For being alloy steel, it was only 22 pounds and a fairly compact little beast that puts out a surprising amount of heat for such a small size. quite comfortable warmth for the whole tent. The kit also included a lot of smoke tubes so we didn't have to try to build something that would fit the exhaust hole in the canvas. After a few uses, we didn't notice any areas of metal thinning, warping, or appearing to change shape. And there is a stove that I used to heat a pot of water for tea and it worked great. Everyone is warm and happy, easy to use and clean.
