non-decay cookers

as far as the cooker goes, this is exactly what i was looking for, small and portable, made of materials. Although there was a small shipping issue and the two longer tubes were quite bent it wouldn't be hard for me to replace them so no big deal but hopefully they will consider that someone else they ship has some cardboard in lay the pipe. So you are not so obsessed with shipping, other than that I am very satisfied, good product

The smoke comes from the top of the door and the glass top

I like this stove but the smoke comes from the top of the door and the round glass top so I cannot recommend it for its intended purpose: heating a tent. Bought for emergency heating in case of power failure. I think the smoke smell and ceiling stains in my house are acceptable in this scenario, but it shouldn't be. I'll try to find a gasket kit so I can seal the door properly but I don't know what can be done if anything can be done about the leak around the glass top. It can be welded on, but

Great heat source for our 8 person tent

We started camping again after being in an RV as our two youngest children were so small and we didn't want to risk the changeable weather. Of course now that we have a tent we need a heat source because the nights here in the north east get a bit cooler than people think lol. We didn't need anything big or bulky. For being alloy steel, it was only 22 pounds and a fairly compact little beast that puts out a surprising amount of heat for such a small size. quite comfortable warmth for the whole…

It's the perfect solution for heating, cooling and air quality

Love it. I thought it might be a bit flimsy in the photos due to its price which doesn't look great. I still have to blow air through the garage wall to use it indoors but I've burned it outside a few times and only used it in the rain for about an hour while it roared and was amazing. You can definitely cook or simmer on the top plate and the ashtray works really well, although you should probably have it every hour or so if you're really keeping it warm. The two side plates don't get very hot

Great for the mountains

I live high in the mountains and during a good winter you can usually expect a ferocious blizzard, sometimes and definitely lots of snow and very cold weather. Late summer and fall are spent collecting firewood in preparation for winter conditions. Add to that the fact that we are the unique breed of people who really enjoy camping in tents in these weather conditions and the need for a stove like this can become quite obvious. I also have a "she-shed" in the back and I usually close it during…

Excellent solution for heating

I recently bought a house, winter is coming. They examined the chimney and it turned out that it was already clean and had a liner. At the moment I couldn't afford to buy a bigger, nicer wood-burning fireplace or stove, so I took a chance on buying one and using reducers to adapt it to the 2.3" chimney that it comes with . (Honestly, when I picked it up and it felt like it was cast iron, that's how strong it was. It's steel.) - Great construction, seems very solid, burned out at first, and yes…
