Overall, this USB-C adapter works great with my 13" MacBook Pro (2020). All ports work properly regardless of whether they are connected to the left or right side. The form factor is best suited for use on the left side of a Mac. The device can also be turned upside down and used on the right side. Note. If the MacBook Pro's USB-C charger is plugged into the charging port marked on the adapter when used on the left side, the adapter's Ethernet port will stop working. Instead, you can flip the device and plug it in on the right side to reveal the Mac's charging port, but using it on the right side will hide the headphone jack. Overall, this product works as advertised. Despite my observations, I am very satisfied with this purchase.
