Perfect fit for my 12,000lb equalizer hitch.

A year after I bought my Equalizer coupling I found that the nut was loose when I loosened it maybe two turns. Pretty scary, you could lose the whole trailer. It found that the grease from the ball and hitch slowed its travel between the base of the ball and the hitch, allowing the trailer to twist the ball and thus slow the nut underneath. I've learned that with heavy trailers this can be a constant problem. Took it to my local RV store and they didn't have the right skinny wall outlet. I ordered this head and a 24" Tekton Breaker. At $65 an hour in the store, this solution is the cheapest and more reliable. The nest fits perfectly. Standing on a 24" breaker generates my weight of 170 pounds about 340 ft-lbs.. torque I jumped up and down and tightened the nut a little.Checking regularly should be fine.
