Review on 🔧 Hitachi 885807 Power Tool Pressure Reducer Replacement Part by Dave Lopez

This is a Hitachi EC89 The first photo shows that the new knob cannot be screwed on directly. Photo 2 shows the pressure switch block turned to the left (use a 14mm wrench on the nipple that connects the switch to the tank). Photo 3 shows that the new regulator now releases the tank for screwing. Photo 4 shows the completed installation without the gauge. The replacement was relatively easy and the compressor is back in service. I think the price is a bit high considering the build quality (replacement is the same quality as the original). I made sure the handle was a little more hidden under the block this time so it couldn't be easily bumped when moving the compressor. Only 4 stars for price and quality.
