Review on 🔋 Schumacher 100 Amp Battery Load Tester and Voltmeter by Steve Yatnalkar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love this tester: Battery Tester

This thing has saved my ass a few times in the last month for both my car and motorcycle. Easy to use and accurate for around $20, it paid for itself in about 10 minutes. If there is a charging problem, you need to trace whether it is the battery or the charging system. This is a mini version of what is used for the free Auto Zone Stress Tester service, but of course you have to bring the car/battery back and forth to test it. The block is light. The cables and clamps are strong, but the cable is short (<3 feet long). The "carbon charge" may look like nichrome wire, but if the tester is only used occasionally it should last almost forever. As stated in the instructions, the device gets very hot during the load test. I put it on a small board during use and the review unit cools down quickly. I can speak for other users but I also have a couple of Schumacher chargers and for the price they are really good.
