Practice before you apply.
New to this product should practice mixing the epoxy and applying it to something to test adhesion before using it on the object of interest. A certain amount of mixing time is required to achieve the desired consistency. Otherwise, the compound will become gelatinous or gummy. When mixed properly, the bond is very strong, but will take a few extra days to set and get even stronger. This is a great product with good volume for at least 50+ small uses. I used it to fix a pair of earbuds that broke at the hinge.
