Light, beautiful kit!
I'm always for beautiful birds! Although I have made 4 or 5 of these kits from the same manufacturer. I didn't realize the black background needed stitching because I figured the fabric itself was black. For me it's not a problem, everything is in yellow blocks. I'm used to these sets not having blocks that match the colors of the floss. I'm actually used to them and they sew up quickly---I did a few counting stitches--but I like them because you don't waste time counting and you can chat or watch a movie/show and get lots of stitches done. It's a beauty, this and the floss/thread card they give you
