Surprisingly good linear slides for the price. They're not perfect out of the box, but they're better than others at a similar price point. I have since purchased all the required linear rails for the project from Usongshine. I was planning a project that would require a lot of linear guides, so I bought three matching sizes from three different sources to compare, and Usongshine's sample outperformed the others. straight out of the box and upon completion. They're a lot cheaper than "famous brands" linear rails and if you're willing to put in a little work, you'll really save money. To bring them up to a usable standard I followed these steps: 1. Completely soak and clean with WD40.2. Dry completely with microfiber and compressed air.3. Repeat steps 1 and 2.4. Fill/fill media with good quality lubricant (I like SuperLube Silicone).5. Flip the guide 75-100 times.6. Remove excess fat.7. Repeat steps 5 and 6.8. testing and installation. I haven't found a need to change the bearing balls to a higher tolerance, although it may be possible in the future. Even if it were necessary, these upgraded rails still cost a lot less than "famous brands" rails and work very well. Good lubrication is important.
