Review on 10K Mile Change Interval Spin-On Oil Filter - FRAM Extra Guard PH3593A by Michael Miner

Oil was leaking everywhere. I thought the dealer did something on the last visit and almost blamed him. Concluded that the o-ring/rubber seal is worse than other brands "after some experienced opinions in my circles" as I'm not really a car enthusiast etc. Got a different brand though , oil changed and switched. Since then no problems. I shouldn't be biased though as I've bought at least 8 of these over the years for two different cars I've owned and this was the first time I've done so. So maybe the bounce rate is a bit higher than others. It's very easy to remove, that's for sure, but if the oil is leaking all over the place it's less value for money as I wasted time and money fixing the mess.
