I finally replaced my old, broken and cheap polymer clay machine with this AHMAZING Makins Ultimate Clay Machine! I've used both an Amaco machine and a Darice machine for years and was just too damn cheap to spend money on anything better. Shame on me :( I should have gotten this machine years ago. I would have saved myself a lot of curses, tears and complaints. The non-stick rollers are fantastic, the clay glides through and comes out smooth as silk. The markings are clear and light to read, they range from 1 (thickest) to 9 (thinnest). I believe 1 is about 1/8" thick and 9 is almost as thin as a piece of paper. I chose Makin's Clay. The Machine is mainly because of the extra motor you can get for it.This will be a future purchase but I wanted to be prepared for when the time came and get a compatible machine now.Overall the Makins clay machine is the Bomb! on that workhorse many years ago.
