This is a very beautiful cabinet handle, convenient shape, which can be pulled with two fingers. The handle is 1 1/4" in diameter and protrudes 1 1/8" from the cabinet door when installed, providing maximum utility without being oversized. The handle is a hollow metal shell rather than a solid one, but once it's in place, there's no telling. The screw that comes with the handle is 1 inch long and fits perfectly on my closet doors which are 5/8. inches thick. The screw will also fit a 3/4 inch thick door. I recommend drilling a hole in the cabinet door with a 9/64" bit to allow the screw to grab the wood in its path and make the grip very strong, but if you're in a hurry you can drill a larger hole . hole and just push the screw.
