Review on 🔥 EOSAGA Magnetic Stirrer with Heating Function by Luis Thompson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Attention buyers! You get what you pay for!

Ever wonder why this is Revain's cheapest unit? I'll give you a quick review, explain why I think it's the cheapest, and honestly tell you what I think of this device, including the good and bad. Let me start posting the photos. Right out of the box, this unit looks like it's 1970's school gear that's been recycled and spray painted. The original paint had flaked off in large areas and was not sanded off but simply painted over. And my theory is that there are even spots where the paint is so thin it seems like it's been rubbed off at first, and the new coat can't even cover the bare metal underneath. Appearances aside, let's talk features. Is it hot? Yes. is it getting hot As if. Will it boil water? NO! After 30 minutes of operation at maximum power (knob turned all the way to the right) the water here can be hot, but it only reached 65.5°C. For those of you who don't know, the boiling point of water is 100°C. That alone makes it useless as a hotplate for me. The displacement is quite small, but I knew that before buying it, so it's not really a negative point. Magnetic stirrers work great. He claims that the power of the magnetic motor driving these stirrers is 25 watts and I believe him. They create a massive vortex in the glass with relative ease, and using the rotary potentiometer they have as a speed control I can slow it down to a very, very low speed before it comes to a halt. In summary, this is a great device for someone who doesn't really need a hot stove. However, for $30 you can buy a device that goes up to 380c or 716f and supports all other features. I will send the device back and take it back.
