This product has mixed reviews. I've owned it for about two months, so I'm giving it four stars. The coating seems normal, but I hand wash these dishes. The forks, knives and large spoons are of good quality, but the small spoons lack weight. Small spoons appear to be of poor quality and cheap in appearance and weight. I won't rate the set as low quality as the other items are a decent weight and good looking. Yes, and a fork was mangled, the tines fell out of the package. I have to hammer the fork into the mold. Please note that the coating was not applied by forging.
