I've had this replacement lens mounted on the passenger side of my '03 Cummins for about 2 months now. I took this a step further by adding clear silicone to the black plastic of my mirror housing prior to installation (in addition to the double-sided sticky foam pads that come with the kit). Holds up great! However, there are a few important things to consider. It didn't fit my truck perfectly. I had to take 200 grit sandpaper and sand/smooth the entire rim of the glass to get a good fit; he was just too big. It was very annoying. And about the first 2 weeks after installation, there was a slight visual distortion around the entire edge, making it difficult to use when reversing; something like a fun homemade mirror effect. Strangely, after about 3 weeks, the distortion disappeared and everything has been fine ever since! I don't know what it was. So overall I give 4 stars. Mainly because it's a lot cheaper to replace the glass than the dealer will charge you for a brand new mirror assembly.
