I've looked everywhere in the trade and on the Internet for floor coverings. I hate to say how much time I've spent searching. For some reason they didn't show up in my Revain search. The big store felt pads never stayed in place when used, making the adhesive almost impossible to remove from wood floors. It makes it worse. In addition, hair and fluff and all kinds of dirt stick to the underside of the chair legs as soon as the felt discs move even a little. I hated them, but all other options were very imperfect - the little "socks" were extremely ugly and failed for various reasons. The felt style wears out quickly and you have to be very careful or the nail will start scratching the floor. They screw in, the felt is much thicker/denser and the screw is countersunk flush with the plastic washer holding the felt. You would have to wear out the felt completely, and even then the plastic washer would hit the ground at the same time, or maybe even before, contacting the top of the screw. While it is true that the felt part is pre-glued to the plastic rims, the grip seems to be much better than glued rims as they don't slip at all. I have already ordered more.
