Review on Modern Wood Pattern Ceiling Lights With LED Bulb Ideal For Dining, Kitchen, Living & Study Rooms - PL1001 by Joshua Pilla

We ordered 2 to go over our kitchen island and are thrilled with the look. They came very well packaged. The "wood" is so realistic that you can't tell it's actually an image on metal. The included bulb is a bonus. The white part is a pure white, not a cream or greyish white. The box also contained the necessary wire nuts, screws, etc needed. Unfortunately the directions are terrible. If you have purchased anything from Ikea then you have an idea of what to expect. If you have done any electrical work you should be able to hang them otherwise it's best to hire someone. Or watch a few Youtubes on installing a ceiling mounted light. There is no mention in the directions on how to shorten the cord which we had to figure out ourselves. There is a very very tiny set screw where the cord feeds through the ceiling plate. NOT THE ONE ON THE TOP OF THE LIGHT. We used a small screwdriver from an eyeglass repair kit to loosen it slightly, pulled the cord to the proper length the retighten the set screw. There is a small plastic piece in the ceiling cap that the cord will loop through. Just feed it through without removing it. It sounds complicated but once you look at it it will be obvious what you need to do. It was really easy to do. All in all a great purchase.
