You can't go wrong with this brand, it's OEM for VW along with Mann. It's cheap enough that I usually change the oil every 4 miles on my 2014 Passat 1.8t. They say 10 but I don't believe in changing the oil after 10,000. If I did, I'm sure I'd end up with mud at some point. I had the same thing with my 2002 1.8t and it is in perfect condition. Use good filters, good oils and you will get good results.
