I had a builder install a mirror (just a huge piece of glass held in place with clamps) that had to be taken out and there was very little room around the edges (see picture). By putting two of these on the glass (you can see the black circles where I circled them with a marker so I could stick the mirror on but leave a contact area), my son and I were able to remove it with a lot less heartache than Otherwise. It was still hard work (a very heavy piece of glass) but we removed it and delivered it to the workshop safe and sound, without dropping anything or cutting anything. I have another bathroom that I am renovating and they will come in handy there as well. I'm also planning some tile work and I think they might be good there. It might seem like a lot of money for a simple tool, but they are powerful and work well. I typically weigh the cost of a tool needed to get the job done properly versus some specialty tools I might have with me in the ER. This tool landed slightly on the buy-it-and-pain-pain-later side of the equation.
