I bought an older version of these first and they lasted a few months before falling apart. I was excited to see this updated design. I usually wear size 13 shoes so I took size XL - they were very loose in the legs and ankles. So I got size L as an exchange, I can stand on the feet without any problems, but they are small and pinch my toes a little. Now the ankle is perfectly fixed. So I tried them on a second time, the thin foam at the ankle ripped apart leaving only the fabric on the outside intact, and now they let rocks, sand and water through. Overall not very happy with them. Keep searching.
