It connected and rotated with my rotary tool. about 10 seconds. After about 11 seconds, the brass brush flew out of the body. Hoping I had just started with the broken one, I hooked up another brush and somehow wasn't surprised when the brush flew off again. The brush is simply plugged into the metal housing. Nothing holds it down. Incidentally, the bristles didn't all stay together when they flew off, despite the clip holding them together. I had to rip a few out of my shirt.
