i ordered the blue ones they are cute. The patterns are more like a hand dyed style which I like so they have color variations some areas are lighter others are darker in the same piece. The patterns are beautiful and the colors of the 12 pieces go really well together, making it fun to make matching but messy looking projects. The reason for 4 stars is that the fabric is not the best quality. It's not coarse but thin, not nice batik quality, 100% cotton. I really hope this company keeps making fabric as it's fun to get a dozen 'fat eights', but I hope they take the quality of the fabric up a notch or two. Also, they are now advertised as 11 1/4" squares, which is what I got. They were pretty square, only one part was too big. But at a fair price, so ok.
