Review on Danco 80765 Universal Spout Chrome by Brad Dotson

So we bought this faucet to replace an old faucet made by the same company. The differences were amazing. Now the quality was much worse. The internal parts of our old faucet were all metal (as far as I could tell) and the weight was probably 2 or 3 times that of the new faucet. We were remodeling the kitchen at the time, so we asked the plumber to install it for us on the side (less hassle). The installation went quickly and without problems. The item has been working great until today (July 27, 2021). The warranty for the product is, as far as I can decipher (I can't find a reference to it anywhere), 1 year. I have to applaud the company for the impeccable timing. Seriously, they must have done a HUGE amount of testing to see how long the devices would last. We bought ours, ready? July 27, 2020. Exactly 1 year ago. BRAVO! Seriously guys, it was a blast. I have had products that failed after the warranty expired. A week earlier, a few months later and some even a year later. This is the first to fail on the exact DAY of purchase. Now only if the quality is maintained. What failed? divertor. Pulled up to redirect water flow into the shower and the metal element you pull came out. Didn't pull too hard just ok and can't tell for sure what failed as it has no damage so I suspect the plastic part inside has just given up with repeated use.
