These teapots are a great product. There are three of them. Two are for teacups and one is big enough for a teapot. Infusors can be expensive and often of poor quality. They are well done. They are made of stainless steel and are perforated with very fine holes on all surfaces. In the past I have used a round metal grid that doesn't prevent the tea leaves from falling into the water because they don't have enough closure. The net comes out of the frame and goes in the trash. They aren't cheap either. There is also an egg-shaped aluminum screen. It has fairly large holes through which finely ground material comes out. Aluminum is not my preferred choice for brewing tea. This (Chefast) egg is similar to the aluminum egg but superior in terms of materials and construction details. I also used a mesh filter set in a frame that rests on the rim of the mug. The mesh part is under the frame, i.e. in the upper third of the cup. The tea leaves stay too high in the water and tend to float. It works, but it's inconvenient and inefficient. It's also stainless steel, but there's not a lot of tea material in it. These (Chefast) brewers close well, have a hook chain and stay in the water. Having two smaller infusors is really nice. When a guest and I brew tea in separate cups, we don't have to take turns using the same brewer. Thanks to the large brewing device, you can brew a large tea kettle. Another good use of the brewer is to add the flavor of spices and herbs to the broth in the pot. I am a devoted tea lover and would heartily recommend this brewer to other tea lovers. They are beautifully packaged and make a great gift. In addition, it seems that the seller genuinely cares about their product and the consumer.
