I love this tea set. The super fine filtration keeps the tea particles perfectly in the brewer and keeps my drink out. It's not wire mesh that loses its shape, it's thin metal with small holes in it. Not only do these brewers make a delicious cup of tea, but they're also easy to clean. My other tea strainers were very fine mesh. To clean them from the tea I had to use a brush. These teapots are a great product. There are three of them. Two are for teacups and one is big enough for a teapot. Infusors can be expensive and often of poor quality. They are well done. They are made of stainless steel and are perforated with very fine holes on all surfaces. In the past I have used a round metal grid that doesn't prevent the tea leaves from falling into the water because they don't have enough closure.
