I just got tired of moving chairs to get to the top shelves and cupboards. We have a ladder, but it's mostly rusty and full of paint. When reviewing the products available, this 2 step folding ladder seemed to be the most durable - and indeed it is, and it's so easy to open and close. However, when opening, you should pay attention to the top step and make sure that it is completely lowered. When I used it for the first or second time, I noticed that the top step wobbled a bit.
