I'm trying to stop using paper products. Period - it helps A LOT

Thanks to the range of different rags, cloth napkins and these towels I've been able to reduce the use of paper products, only what I keep for guests in the house (there's always TP in the toilet , but members of the house try not to use them). I have these recycled cotton "rags" in three colors. Blue for general wiping and cleaning (replacing paper towels) in kitchen, shop, bathroom, general cleaning of house, car, etc. White for replacing napkins. (I use nicer cloth napkins for lunch for us and for company.) And red for toilet napkins. After the third or fourth wash (I bleach and wash in hot water) they become very soft and absorbent and dry on the "sanitizer". I have 50 of each color that last for several weeks. I usually wash once a week so I always have a supply on hand. I wash and bleach them separately (or with other white loaded items) and that's it. Fold, lay out where useful, kitchen, store, car, bathroom, art room, etc. I only use paper products so far to keep TP in bathrooms for company and as needed for #2. for us (it's still easier to use regular toilet paper for this daily routine, although we appreciate our position in this regard). That saves a lot of money. With paper towels for $2 a roll, toilet paper isn't far behind, and if you use up to 3 or 4 of each a day you're still paying no more than a toilet paper roll or two a week, don't use paper napkins, etc. Save us a few thousand dollars a year. We don't throw our money down the drain. And we feel good about doing whatever we can to save the trees, which can help save the environment for our children and grandchildren. Even those who do not believe in a climate crisis should think about reassessing the use of disposable paper products. Isn't it good to be practical and economical, like "save money"? These recycled cotton items aren't pretty, but they work, for families struggling to make ends meet and for people tired of being part of the solution. Instead of getting bogged down in a problem, this is a very reasonable option. Good luck to all.
