Think of this tool as a wrench. I often use long wrenches first when I expect extra force will be required when removing fasteners. This tool provides even more leverage for frozen fasteners or hard-to-reach fasteners. It can be a bit difficult to keep the wrench in place on the fastener while holding the wrench and torque multiplier tool together for the wrench extension and wrench. Much depends on the location and its availability. You often need two hands to hold everything in place until you can apply force to the tool. While I haven't had to do this yet, using two zip ties to attach the wrench and this tool together would free my hand if needed. Then cut off the zip ties when you're done. This tool is one of those tools that can make all the difference in getting the job done or not. I highly recommend it. .
