Original design is UNSAFE and dangerous out of the box. If the front suspension undergoes significant buckling, ie hits a rut/pothole, the front wheel may catch on the front fender/mudguard/bolt attached to the scooter frame. When this happens, the front wheel/tire will catch on the fender/frame, catapulting the rider forward through the handlebars. This happened to me and as a result I broke my collarbone. Other people have had similar experiences. I have written to the Monorim CEO to describe the issue in detail. To date no answer. The product must be redesigned so that the wheel/tire cannot touch the fender/frame when the spring mount is fully compressed/extended. For more information on the fix, see Mormegil81 user on Reddit.
