Just got it and as a beginner I'm still trying out yarn and needles. I found I liked the feel of wood or plastic and wanted to invest in inexpensive materials. After learning how much easier it is to knit a hat on circular knitting needles, I realized that I had to buy something. I tried the comforter but needed more length so I was glad to get it. Upon arrival, they will be wrapped in a resealable Manila envelope. Later, on closer inspection, they appear to be well put together and the set of sizes clearly marked. Hooray! Until I took them all in one hand and straightened them lengthwise to put them back in the envelope. I noticed that they are different lengths. For my purposes and the price it is enough, but if a certain length is absolutely necessary, you can go back a few centimeters. To demonstrate this, I intentionally held the tips of two tape measures at the 1 inch mark. See where the ends end up. The difference is 1.5 cm. So if you just need extra needles and the length is optional, buy a set. But when a certain length is needed, they turn off. I tried to show what might be the shortest and what might be the longest. I have standard 13.24 inch plastic Bates needles. The needle size was comparable. But when I measured, were my Bates longer than 24 inches, or maybe I put plastic tubing between the needles and didn't know? I can not say. Update: I've been using a US size 15 for about a week. I've noticed that I have to back the stitches up the length of the tubing and the opposite needle. But I think it's more because I didn't use the full 40" length for my project. Added photos of completed projects. Update: 1 year later - had to replace two sizes commonly used for Pronects. The tubing broke at the junction where it met the real needle. Temporarily repair the used ribbon before getting a new one, but the yarn will stick to the ribbon.
