I expected more in my review

I really wanted this product to work. It was fairly expensive and unfortunately not what I've come to expect from an ADC product. The hose from cuff to manometer is too short, making it awkward to place on a patient. And because the gauge and inflation bulb are one piece, the size of the inflation bulb was sacrificed. This would normally be a pro as opposed to a con, however, it made the bulb difficult to effectively squeeze. My hand always seemed to grip the gauze part as well. Making squeezing possible with only two fingers.Since I do not have manly large hands, I can only assume this issue would plague many users. Functionally, it works. Structurally, it's not the most user friendly tool in my arsenal. I used this product for a full week, seeing several patients a day, just so I could give it a fair shot. It now resides in a drawer with the other misfit toys.

Pros
  • The instrument is designed for optimal user safety, with no sharp edges or corners
Cons
  • Inconsistent reading results
