I live in an apartment and accidentally lit a candle too close to the wall Soot on the wall and ceiling. I panicked after trying to rinse it off with a damp cloth and it only got worse. However, this 100% fixed it! Even took care of the parts I deteriorated with water. If you have soot on your walls or just like lighting candles, I recommend it just in case!
