Turns off after a few minutes

I have had other Pelonis heaters which I really liked. I was hesitant to take this one as the control settings are slightly different than what I've used in the past. I love that it still has high/low cooling and heating settings, which is great. What sucks is that when it heats up (be it low or high) it shuts itself off after about 5 minutes, probably due to the "overheat protection" feature. The heater isn't blocked by anything and there's plenty of space around it, so I'm not sure why it thinks it's overheating. Although while it's on, decent heat. I just wanted him to stay.
