Probably too many for my use. I used these rails to create a sliding table for a laser engraver. I wanted something that was sturdy and didn't feel wavy/cheap. I thought they looked so solidly built that they could be used for years. I can't vouch for their weight limit, but I can tell you they're fairly thick metal, so I'd take that for granted. The locking function is also very useful. I didn't plan on having it, but I'm glad it's here! There is a latch on one side only. It's ok for my use to be honest. I gave almost no 1mm play so the "free side" doesn't move at all even though only one side is blocked. It doesn't snap, so you know. This only prevents it from rolling out or accidentally being pushed back in. Closes fully and completely.
