Review on 🚪 Wright Products V920WH White Standard Duty Pneumatic Closer for Screen and Storm Doors by Andres Black

Initial Review May 30, 2021 We, like many others, have a door between our house and our garage. Local law requires the door to close automatically. When our home was built, the solution was to add a spring operated door hinge. The problem is that when someone opens the door all the way and lets go, it slams very hard and the noise can be heard throughout the house. I put it closer to this door, adjusted the screw, and it does the job perfectly. The door swings quickly, but then slows down when the door is about 1 foot or less from closing. Then it closes much more slowly and the door snaps into place. I'm wondering if I can remove the spring loaded loop. Maybe I'll try that. With both the hinge and its closer, it takes a bit more force to open the door. My only complaint is that the opener only allows the door to open 90 degrees. It used to open about 95 degrees and we could easily snap it in place. Not that big of a problem. I recommend it closer.
