Pros: It's well built and has a simple and efficient mounting solution. Four USB 3.0 ports provide enough power to charge my iPad and iPhone 5, and these Apple devices seem to be the most demanding I've found. The USB ports provide a snug fit for all my USB cables. Cons - I've had it for a little over a year and it has stopped working properly. When I plug in my phone, the computer recognizes it, but the phone just charges and doesn't acknowledge that it's charging. My Kindle charges fine but doesn't recognize that it's connected to my computer. The LEDs on the USB hub stop flashing to indicate that a device is connected. Luckily StarTech has a 2 year warranty so I'll benefit from that, but it's not a cheap USB hub so I was hoping it would last longer.
