Review on 🚀 S&B Filters 75-5104D Cold Air Intake: Optimal Performance for 2011-2016 Ford Powerstroke 6.7L with Dry Extendable Filter by Richard Cunningham

2013 F350 6.7 4x4 8' bed @ 170K. I don't normally mess around with CAI and truck/SUV storage anymore, but these were my previous stations after learning my lesson about installing K&N a long time ago. I didn't really notice a difference and felt it was a waste of money. *** I bought this dry S&B because I now have a diesel and I don't like messing around with oil changes. There were great product reviews. Along with replacing the hot and cold intercooler tubes (the cold side cracked), I figured out what the heck, right? *** Install if the filter is smooth and I'm impressed with the size of the filter - huge compared to the stock filter and it makes more sense being round than flat. Also, I checked out YouTube MFG and tried to put together a very impressive filter (there was no link at the time of writing, but you can find it). Everything buttoned up and controlled. With the hood open and looking around, I could hear a slight difference in engine harmonics when it was negligible. It just sounded better overall, I don't think it was an ear trick because I just installed a new filter? The old OEM was clean and only 6 months old. He found the test drive with the truck even more unpleasant. There were no noticeable noise changes during the drive, and the truck sounded quieter to me even with the windows down. When I jumped on it everything accelerated, I registered 0-60 in a matter of seconds at ¼ throttle and without hesitation where previously I had to wait for turbo lag and maybe ½ throttle for the same results, still very quick. but better with S&B. Of course, new intercooler pipes can help. **** MPG Tracker Reset I used to have about 13.6 in the city now 16.4 so big difference for £8,800. There is no road traffic yet. So far it seemed to live up to all the hype. Since it's been around for a few days and if you're looking for CAI, feel free to buy it.
