My 5 year old is tall and slim and these size 7 pants fit him just as expected. In the photo shown the shape looks a little more like a child's but at least in a size 7 the shape was elongated and suited my five year old boy's shape. Soft and comfortable like French terry, with a delicate loop on the inside to wick sweat and be skin-friendly. The pants are flexible but don't lose their shape and wash very well if something gets even softer after washing in the washing machine. Don't forget. I have been buying things from this brand for many years and I am very happy that they have a children's line. Everything is really high quality and clearly made to the same exacting standards as their adult clothing.
