Very stylish and elegant. It's not quite the weight you'd typically associate with a Xikar lighter, but it won't weigh your pockets down either. It lights up every time you press it for the first time. The unique flat flame lets you light any cigar in no time, it is not overwhelming and can burn your cigar as can often be the case with a triple or quad burner. You will be surprised how you used to live without him. I deducted a star because there is no protective cover and the flame hole is open. I see this as a potential design flaw that dirt and lint can ruin. But Xikar's excellent guarantee makes it far from a deal breaker. Try it, you will like it. I know what I am doing. 01/13/19 Addendum: I recently took my trousers out of the washing machine to put them in the dryer and heard a "popping sound" which could only be because my Verano had fallen out of my pocket. and landing in the machine drum.
