I've had this bread for about a month now and I can confidently say I like it. Before that I had a cheap plastic one that worked but didn't feel good in the hand so I just took a quick swipe. And before that I used a sharp knife. The Bread Bosses Lame Knife is a HUGE step up in my bread game. First, it's beautifully crafted and comes in a lovely wooden storage box, not to mention a leather blade sheath. Together they make me more confident in holding the lame. It also comes with 10 blades so I can't see when I'll need to buy more. I've used it on about 6 loaves of bread so far and with every bake I've found my cuts are exactly where I want them and at just the right angle. It is also very easy to clean as the wood has no scuffs anywhere. The only thing I can think of to improve is that it could be a few grams heavier. But it's a very personal preference, so I can't kick anyone out because of it. All in all, for the money, this is a top notch lameness and I don't see myself ever needing another. Now that I have the right tools, I'm going to try my hand at bread art! Great job bread bosses!
