This cold brew kettle is easy to clean. I can easily put my hand in the pot. The filter is flimsy, but as long as you don't throw it around the kitchen you're fine. The glass is thin. This surprised me a little, but it's easy to pick up when it's full. I used about 1 cup of coarsely ground soil per full amount of water. To clean the filter I just twisted it on a paper towel and be careful! knocked on him. The grind fell out easily and I was able to wash it without messing with the grind. There is a little dregs, but that doesn't bother us. If it's a big problem, use a filter. Overall I am very happy with this man. We made our first batch of cold drink and it was smooth enough to drink without cream or sugar.
