I have used this product on my 2010 Toyota RAV4 V6 for the last 4 years and am very happy with it. A metal upper and lower housing is almost impossible to find in an equivalent Fram, Purolator or even Bosch filter. I've never seen any of these filters distort (suck in) or fall apart (like some fram filters do). The filter used in the image has driven 10,000 miles on Mobil 1 5W-30. I cut off about 1/4 of the filter to inspect and found no metal shavings and the overall condition of the filter was very good.
