It may cost twice as much as a regular Toyota filter, but it's worth every penny. If you compare it with a normal Toyota filter, you will understand why it is better. If you change your oil every 10,000 miles on the recommended schedule and you don't mind spending a little more to protect your engine, get this. If you change your oil every 5,000, stick with regular Toyota filters.

I have used this product on my 2010 Toyota RAV4 V6 for the last 4 years and am very happy with it. A metal upper and lower housing is almost impossible to find in an equivalent Fram, Purolator or even Bosch filter. I've never seen any of these filters distort (suck in) or fall apart (like some fram filters do). The filter used in the image has driven 10,000 miles on Mobil 1 5W-30. This filter is used on a 2012 Toyota Highlander 3.5 v6 and is immaculate in form and finish. This is the same or nearly identical filter as Amsoil and Royal Purple for this application. The whole thing costs about 15 € plus shipping. I bought a Purolator cartridge which is about 8mm smaller in OD and the Purolator is also about 10mm shorter in height.
