Poor manufacture or design
The fittings leaked air as soon as my compressor blew a little over 40psi (far from their 300 rated maximum) and thought it was ok maybe were the tolerances just cater to bad luck on both sides from different manufacturers. Used a hose with a better fitting connector so the only active quick disconnect came from the ColorConnex kit itself and had the same issue with their own fittings (tried all suitable kits). I'm not sure if it was a manufacturing defect or just bad design, but these things leak an awful lot when the system they're in is under a lot of pressure.
